"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done." — Proverbs 19:17
In the quiet of morning prayer, reflect on what drives your political convictions. Is it fear? Self-interest? Or is it love?

As conservative Christians, we hold dear traditional values, fiscal responsibility, and personal liberty. Yet Christ calls us to something deeper than political ideology—He calls us to radical compassion. Jesus spent His ministry touching lepers, eating with outcasts, and defending the vulnerable. His compassion wasn't just sentiment; it was action.
Being a compassionate conservative means acknowledging that limited government and personal responsibility don't absolve us of our obligation to care for "the least of these." While we may believe government isn't always the best solution to social problems, that belief places an even greater responsibility on us as individuals and faith communities to meet those needs.
Daily Practice: Today, identify one social issue that troubles your heart. Instead of immediately thinking about policy solutions, pray for God to show you what personal action He's calling you to take. Is it volunteering? Generous giving? Mentoring? Listen for His leading, and take one small step in that direction.
Prayer: Lord, give me eyes to see the vulnerable as You see them. Help me balance my conservative principles with Your command to care for others. May my political beliefs never become an idol that overshadows Your call to compassion. Amen.
